If your house is on SceneF, someone here read your board and wrote down what it said. Nobody paid for the listing and nobody can: the order is settled before any commission is known, and a theater that sends us nothing is listed exactly like one that does. What follows is where your times come from, how to fix one, and what you can take from us for free.

Where your showtimes come from

One of two places, and every screening on the site says which. Venue-published means we read your own ticketing system, published feed or public calendar — your board is the source, and when you change it we follow within hours. Licensed feed means we bought the times from an aggregator because we could not read your board directly; it is the one tier we do not read first-hand, and it is labelled as such on every showtime it produces.

If you are on the licensed tier and would rather we read you directly, that is usually a five-minute conversation about which URL to point at. We would rather read you.

Corrections, checked the same day

Write to info@scenef.com with the house and the showtime. We check it against your board the same day and correct it or explain what we are seeing — including when the answer is that your own page and your ticketing system disagree, which is the most common cause and worth knowing about either way.

A listing that is wrong is worse than no listing, because somebody drove there. That is why the verification record is public whether it passes or fails: your house’s check history is at /status, and the method is at /methodology.

Your listings, on your own site

The same board you see here runs as an embed you can put on your own page — your showtimes, your house, no SceneF branding required, no account, no fee, and no tracking of the people who read it. It updates when we update. If your site currently hand-maintains a showtimes page, this replaces that job. Take the widget.

Not listed?

Tell us and we will add you. The census we keep is of every screen in the regions we cover, not of the ones who asked — a house that is missing is a gap in our record, and we would like to close it.
